I totally realize that my Friday Favorites from last week never got posted, but watch for it later tonight as it's a WIP :)  This weekend was a busy one, I had some out of town company so I got to play tour guide, so fun!  Anywhoodle,  I went onto google Analytics and I LOVE looking at the keywords that bring people to the shop.  Here's some of the search words that brought people in the last 2 weeks:

Baret ware serving trays
Beautiful vintage tape measure
Colorflyte creamer sugar
Detecto hamper
Large end grain walnut cutting board
And My most favorite......Organic Baby Clouds... what is an organic baby cloud?  Anyone?

Also, I ordered some new business cards from 123 Prints and I am loving them! They are so professional looking,  I can't wait to put them in shop orders:) O  and if you are a small business owner you should go and check them out because the best part about 123 Prints is that there's FREE SHIPPING ALL THE TIME!!!!  What'd ya think?

Treasury Thursday

Hello There this week I've been lucky enough to be featured in four treasuries by my fellow Vestie Team Members.  Vesties stands for Vintage Etsy Society Team.  Thanks fellow team mates for all the includes.

First Up was Let it Snow by TomLaurus who included our turquoise divided snowflake casserole.

Thanks TomLaurus for including us, even though we're ready for spring this is a good reminder of how pretty the winter can be.

Reconsidered included our Barn Pully  In the Garden treasury.

Reconsidered has such a fun romantic feeling shop. Stop over and say hello.

Bridget from Aquamarinedream featured our Primary Blue Pyrex Mixing Bowl in her Sweet Spring Saturday Treasury.

Aquamarinedream must have spring fever also. All the pretty colors in this treasury make me ache for springs colors.

Our final inclusion for this week was from Waterbetweenstones who featured our Big Beam Flashlight in her Let's go Camping treasury.

Waterbetweenstones has so much fun industrial items in their store. So many that you need to go and check them out now!

Thank You again everyone that featured Junk in da Trunk Girls in your beautiful treasuries.  Look for us to Pay it Forward to you very soon:)

Six Confessions

On a few blogs I follow I've noticed that they are doing something called Six Confessions so here's mine

1. I have an insanely difficult time sticking to a budget and am pretty sure that I'm a shopaholic.

2. 99.9% of the time I am wearing a ponytail or some form of  having my hair off of my face.

3. At home I don't like to pick up after myself.  One persons mess is another person's organizational method...am I right?:) Which has lead me to hire a maid (well my best friend) she has cleaning OCD and is trying to do a cleaning intervention on me. I secretly think that she enjoys it because it gets her away from her 3 adorable children for an hour or two.

4. I had a coke for breakfast

5.  My hometown has a paper mill and I love the smell.  It's so familiar and when I cross the bridge to get to the city limits and smell it I smile and feel only then have I arrived.  Gross I know.

6.  Growing up I was a HUGE tomboy and athlete, I lived and breathed sports. And right now I feel like I'm beyond that and am embracing my girly and creative side and all of the things I wanted to do when I was younger but didn't have the time for.

How about you what are your 6 confessions?

Friday Favorites: Pyrex

Happy Friday everyone!  It's time again for my Friday favorites, and this week I choose Pyrex!! I love, love, love, LOVE Pyrex!!!  I have lots of it:)  I have so much that I don't even know exactly how many pieces that I have.  I kind of have a motto of no Pyrex left behind when I go to the thrift store but when it comes to the Antique store I have to add, "No Pyrex left behind under $12".  Someday I will do a post on the collections that I have, and I have a few. *Wink, Wink* Anywho onto the Pyrex Lovin

I stumbled upon these note cards through Leigh Ann and the Freckled Nest's blog

They are from Erin Ink  Aren't they the sweetest?  I'm pretty sure I'll have to put these cards in my cart before they are gone! The best part is if you order more then one set she takes $1 off each additional set! Awesomepants!

Who knew you could wear Pyrex? Way to go KitchenKel for thinking outside the box!

KitchenKel made these sweet earrings from an old corning ware plate.  (Corning ware and Pyrex same difference... well kinda)  Her shop has a matching necklace also.

This right here  is my most coveted piece of Pyrex

The Teal Hot Air Balloon complete chip and dip.  This was a promo item and according to my Pyrex book they weren't too many of them made and Fleamarkettrixie just so happens to have a completed set. O man this would be so nice to have.

Well I hope you didn't drool too much over these Pyrex's.   Also if you are big into Pyrex check out the Pyrex Collective  it's a blog written by Erin as in Erin Ink as in those super cute note cards on the top of this post. Hope you have a great weekend!

Think Outside the Box

I love treasure hunting for Junk in da Trunk Girls, I will rescue any pyrex that I find for myself or for someone else.  But along with running Junk in da Trunk I also enjoy crafting and do a few craft shows a year.  While on a thrifting trip with my mom last summer, I saw a huge rack of old football jerseys.  I walked around the store with those jerseys in the back of my mind.  I decided to buy a few because I came up with the idea of trying to turn them into purses.  Let's face I like sports, and I like to look cute when I go to said sporting event and I tend to carry lots of stuff with me... and I bet other girls want all those things too!  Ta Da the upcycled jersey purse was born! I will admit the first jersey purse I made was with a old Favre jersey because at Wisconsin thrift stores, you can count on a Favre jersey being in there as well as you can count on there being at least three copies of the Da Vinci Code being in there.  The purse turned out well, I took it to my first Packer game and I packed alot of stuff in there!  So from there on out the great jersey search at the  thrift begun.  These purses are a hit at the craft shows and a few weeks ago I found sooo many different ones that I can't wait to see how they turn out. I guess my moral of the story is just because something originally had one purpose think outside the box and you'll find another purpose for it. These are two examples of how the end product looks.
